Starting his career as a carpenter Lewis now has over 16 years’ experience within the industry. Since leaving school, Lewis has worked progressively to go from Carpenters Mate at the age of 15, to a well accomplished Project Manager, and now Site Manager.

 

Lewis has been fortunate enough to manage conservation projects across Dorset on a variety of listed buildings, including many notable National Trust Properties, such as Kingston Lacey Estate, Agents House and other properties on Brownsea Island. As well as this, he has led restorations on two of the largest estates in the Purbecks; These being the Weld and Encombe estates.

 

Proud to have been involved in running conservation and restoration projects in Dorset, Lewis is not only knowledgeable in the different approach these projects require, being local, he also has a genuine interest in the preservation of Dorset’s history and built environment.

 

Through successful working relationships Lewis is able finish work consistently to the highest of standards. He prides himself on his effective communication to enable positive management of all projects and exceed customer expectations.
